It contains tiftm acres nearly afl of which Is good farming and grazing The Union Pacific railroad runs nearly through the center of the county. Plenty of good water is found in nearly all parts of the county, and for a salubrious and climate cannot be surpassed east of the Rocky mountains. The county has three wide-awake' towns the largest of which is Eussell county scat, its populatiou is about 100; Bunker Hill with a population of about 400, and DOBRANCE witn a population of 300.

Dorrance is located in the eastern part of Bussell county on ihe-U. railroad. It was named afterIr. Dorrance who was assistant superintendent on this railroad at that time. The town is growing rapidly, having doubled in size during the year, with the prospects for a large boom during the present year.
