Dr. J. 0. Landon, one of the oldest and best known physicians of Wyandotte county, passed away very suddenly at Vance, Kansas, Monday afternoon at the age of 68 years. He was apparently in good health up to the hour of his death.

Heart disease is supposed to have been the cause. The remains were taken in charge by Undertaker Raymond, of this city. The funeral services were held at Griffith's cemetery where the interment took place at 11 o'clock this morning. The sermon was preached by Rev. W.
