Editor JVcj: There has been a good deal said about 7-41 homesteaders selling out to the new town, and I therefore ask for a few lines to deny all those kind of stories. I will venture to say that there is not 5 votes for Goodland in 7-41 and 42. Why the homesteaders in this section have had. their eyes opened within the past 2 or 3 weeks and have just began to realize that when fellows come into the county with a big lot of pay for it? But then conies the "if we get it" I will venture to say the man has spent ten times as much time at 50 cts. per day as he would have been taxed to put up the same improvements if he had stayed at home and let Goodland out.
