Miss Ellen Griffin in her usual fre and lady-like manner gained a trade for her Candy-stand equal to any in in the room. We shall not forget the generosity displayed by the country boys who are never found wanting: when it comes real liberality. The Band Boys did their best at the lair, which, to say the least, was excellent, and we doubt if their equals can be found in the state. William Julieu and Nannie McNul-ty unite in their very sincere thanks to Mrs. Mullen for the effort she make in securing votes for them at the Fair.

The rail-road boys made themselves very agreeable on all occasions. Thanks to them for a headlight by which tWe room was made more pleasant and cheerful. The Paola Ladies deserve special praise for their kindness and liberality, having donated goods to -'the amount of $20. They will please accept committee's thanks. We are under obligations to Miss Josie Stewart and Mr.

E. Kearney for assisting in the raffleing. We will assure them of our best wishes, and their kindness never shall be forgotten. The Post Office under the direction of Miss Mollie McNulty proved to be a source of great pleasure and amuse-meut to the young folks, who could be seen sauntering their way in that direction every evening. The Faucy Table under the auspices of Misses Mary McFarland and Nannie McNulty was.
