29. A passenger on the south-bound Missouri, Kansas Hi Texas passenger train attempted suicide here last night just as the train arrived. As the train was slacking up he jumped up suddenly from his seat, crowded forward to the door and when he reached the platform, stabbed himself In the left side of the neck with his pocket knife. He then jumped to the depot platform and starting to run stabbed himself in the right side of the neck and was about to draw the knife across his neck. When caught the knife was still sticking in his neck It was removed and the man taken to a surgeon's office where he was taken care of.
