On or about March 1st. The Roporter will move into its new home in the Chits. Wright building, were we expect to remain, for some time at least. Miss Lena Join's, a full blood Creek Indian girl arrived here one day last week from the Indian Territory and will make her home with W. A. Wood and fami ly, Miss Jones has boon attending school for a number of years und has taken to our ways quite naturally, and from her appearance and actions very few people would recognize her as an Indian girl. The snow storm was general ull over Kansas, and in the southern part it was accompanied by considerable rain, which will bo of great benefit to tho wheat. Tho wheat fields in this county in many pluces had begun to turn yellow and needed moisture badly, but with the heavy fall of snow the prospects of a big crop next year never looked more promising.

ShimplTand Harader left here last Saturday morning with the intention of finding some kind of a business location, yet the line which they have taken up was then farthest from their minds. Teddy Outdone. Earl Blackshere Is destined to become a rivalof Theodore Roose velt, and is gaining almost as much notoriety as Mrs. Nations. Ijist Tuesday morning Earl demonstrated the fact that ho was entitled to gubernatorial honors by bringingdownalargo coyote ut adistance of 1200 yards at least that's tho way tho story runs, A number of coyotes havo been seen hanging about the Clover Cliff ranch for the past few duys, and Dr. Blackshere madourruuge- monts to accompany the men last Tuesday morning when they went out to feed tho stock, and try and get a shot at the coyotes, but Karl got onto the arrangements, und while the doctor was peacefully slumbering, he stole forth in the still hours of the night in search of the coveted prize.

After tramping ull over the west portion of this county and ubout half of Marion ho was rewarded by finding one of the animals laying in straw stuck, where it had boon driven by the storm und laid frozen to death. Ho shouldered his game and tar ted for homo with as much dignity as the Manila hero, and forthwith issued invitations for a grand iMi.iquot, and it is need less to say that Karl was somewhat disapiMiinted when the women folks informed him that a coyote was not good to eat.
