The doors will be opened at 7:30. Admission, lOcts. The contestants are Eugene Champagne, Will Mann, Victor Champagne, Frank Frank Brooks, and Thomas Reynolds. OBITUARY. Lydia Chambers died at her home, three miles west of Oketo, on March 4th, 18-94, at the Age of 72 years, 10 months and 5 days.

She leaves a husband and 6ix children to mourn her loss. Her maiden name was Lydia Williams, and was born in Massachusetts. She was the second of the seven children of George and Keziah Williams, who were natives of the Kama state. Her parents removed to Il'inois where, in 183S, she was united in marriage to Mr. John Chambers.

In 1877 they settled on the farm which was their present home. She was a cheerful wife, a loving mother, and nor many years has been a sincere Christian and a devoted meri'jQr of the Episcopal church. She was laid to rest on last Tuesday in the Oketo cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.

Rachel Child's lecture entitled "The Magna Charts" on equal suffrage. Her lecturo' was good and. stocked with convincing of the justness of the woman suffrage, cause. Mrs. Child showed herself-to be well posted and that she had carefully studied the question and all things pertaining thereto.
