Talbot. He had been a 6tudent at the Normal for two years. He was fitting h.mself for a useful and noble life. In this direction he had made a good start, for his character was above reproach, and in his search for knowledge he had been highly successful. His a in life was so high that had he lived to execute his plans he would have exceeded the expectations of his most intimate friends.

He was modest and unassuming. When his name was mentioned it was in connection with some noble and generous deed. Among his associates he was loved as a brother and as brothers and sisters they mourn his death. As far as he had trave'ed the path of life, the mission of Ufa was ably fulfilled. S.vd that he could not continue the life with us that was so well begun.

The people of Marshall county are not slow in realizing the advantage of having a college in their midst. ter and twenty weeks next winter would give you a good education?
