A study of Ancient, Egypt has been taken up and the following papers were read and discussed: Origin and Charactistics of the Egyptians by Rev. Morley, Geography and Climate of Egypt by Fred Johnston.

The Nile and what it has done for Egypt by Miss Etta Rohrer. The study of Ancient Egypt will be continued. The Club will meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D.

R. Hale next Tuesday evening. E. R. Whitla of Edgerton WAS admitted to the bar by Judge Sheldon, Monday.

Mr. Whitla graduated last spring from the law department at the stateuniversity at Lawrence and has gone into the law office of Parker Hamilton of Olathe, Marriage licenses have been issued during the past waak by Probate Judge Long as follows: Nov. 15, J.
