iwtm Hi world. Mploudlillv lllur.lt. Na ABSTRACTER. 1 4. kjkA A may expect dangerous storms with excessive rains In pnrts of the country and excessive drouths In other parts.

The worst of these storms will proba bly not occur till after the middle of May, and In Foster's next bulletin he will more particularly describe the move mcntsof one of these great storms. During the lust half of May the storms will break the drouth In many places, and inaugurate drouths In other places. Where excessive rslns fell during April may be expected a deficiency in May.and portions of Texas, tho southeastern, New Kngland and the northern Slates from New York to suffered from drouth during April, will be partially relieved by rnln from tho storms the last half of May. The operations of the drouth In April fully verified Ills forccRMs by indicating some of ill favorite lurking places. Western Texas and the southeastern states suffered most, but May mid June will Include many other pans in the Imuth districts, whilo some of the dis tricts hurt by dioutb In April will be relieved In May.

About the coming crops, Foster says, that taking tlio 1HIH) and JAM crops as a standard, he expects the drouth to injure the cotton crop this year from 15 to 20 per cent, and the corn crops from 10 to IS per cent. Frosts will come in late next fall, and the rainfall In the droulh districts will be belter after tho first of August, there fore crops that mature late will probably be best. lu preparing dinner, Mrs. llruwn broke an egg and found within It a naturally formed egg, shell and all, about the size of a hulled walnut. The space between the outer shell and the egg within was Ulled witli albumen. Let some eugolo-gist try blr baud at explaining this plie nonienon. A cranky prohibitionist at my elbow suggests that the little egg represents tho resubmission contingent In tho Republican party of this state, uow snugly encased within the movement for a constitutional convention.

llu'also suggests that the little egg should not be broken, as It Is probably a bad gg. The egg story la true, and can lie vouched for by threo Methodist preach era and a school teacher."
