i Fire in Cimarron. Fire in Cimarron Tuesday night destroyed the building occupied by the Gray County Republican, owned by John Harper. When the fire was discovered it was too late to save much of the office and Mr. Harper lost his newspaper press most of his material, upon which there was no insurance. The fire was evidently of incendiary origin as it was started in an ice house that stood a few feet in the rear of the printing office, and the flames being fanned by a brisk north wind both heating tbe river from the Vinson ranch to town.

Miss Delga Xeidiger has been appointed deputy postmaster here Mrs. Shoup could not make better selection nor one that would give better satisfaction to tbe patrons of the office than Miss Neidiger. C. D. Bush, of Lockport, was in our city, on Tuesday.

J. K. Sayre delivered a loud of barley to C. M. Weeks, on Monday.

It. J. Pribble, sheriff-elect, was filling his bond, and preparing to move to town. J. H.
