LANE LECOMPTON, KANSAS, Is in its JOINT PROGRAM Last Friday evening the Zetagathe-an and Zaonian Literary Societies gae an excellent program in the College Chapel. A good audience was present to enjoy the program and the auditors were none of them disappointed for the participants were all well prepared and rendered their parts in a good unique manner and their efforts were appreciated by all present. The song by the Zaonian trio was tine. The dialogue was very amusing and the performers did their parts well especially Mr. Bartlett; who had the part ot the negro to act.

The program was by far the best joint program that has been rendered this year. 36th Year of College Work. FACULTY. Rev. Mf Brooke.

Hope was in Lecompton lui week and assisted in the revival service being held here. He is always welcome in our midst for he has many friends here. Mr. McCracken one of our good, faithful students was iu the neighborhood of Oskaloosa Sunday. He started for his home in Salmon, Idaho, forepart of the week.

We hope he will be with us again when the next college year comes. The second Quarterly Meeting for this place occurred Sunday and Monday. Elder Lewis preached a. good sermon in the morning and also an ex cellent one at the union meetings at the Elmore St. church in the evening, The Sacramental services in the morning were very impressive.

Hendershot is a formerly of Lane boy and is expected to re-enter college at the beginning of this coming term. His year's work will end with the convening of the Arkansas Valley Conference which convenes this week..
