The Parsons Pacific railroad has been completed between Parsons and Coffey ville, a distance of thirty miles. The Parsons, Girard Arcadia railroad company will construct that road the extensive coal fields of Crawford county: then northeasterly to the Missouri river. The engineers of the Rock Island have reached Newton. It is given out that Jay Gould is the backer of the projected Kansas, Nebraska Dakota road. Atchison, Topeka Santa Pe mag nates are reported to be in St.

Loui trying to get entrance and terminal facilities out of the city for the road projected between Kansas City and St. Louis. A new receiver has been appointed for the Fort Scott and Wichita road. It is stated that Jay Gould is about lo have a direct lino of road from Denver to New York. The new line west of Memphis runs from Memphis to Bald Kn.
