Funeral took place from the family residence on Tuesday afternoon, and the little one was laid to rest In the Mt. Zlon cent- etry. In this city, TuesdsyTnlght, Aug. 25, after several years of suffering, Mart Jani Zieroer, wife of D. Zerger.

Funeral services took place from tho M. church on Wednesday aftemoeon, August 26, at 3 o'clock, Rev. N. J. Burton officiating.

Mrs. Zerger was bom In Pennsyl vania, id 1842. Stye was married to Mr. U. zerger In 1871, in the state of Indi ana.

For three years past she scarool kne a well day, and for the past ton months was unable to walk a step. She leaves a husband and two children to mo urn for heralso a.largo circle of warm friends. Obituary. A death occurred near this city on the 7th dav of August, mention of which never appeared in the Ukoistkii. At that timo wo wero unable to pro cure such particulars as we desired, tho family tho only ones who- conld give tho facts being so deeply afflicted by their loss flint wo did not liko to Intrude upon their' mourning.

Wo refer to the death of Mrs. Addio Dayman, about three miles west of this city. The rela tives have now kindly furnished us the following brief 6kctch of hor lifo and doath: Addle Norrls was born February 15, county, Iud. When 17 ycnrsTof ago hor mother died leaving Addie the care of the house, with four brothers aud one sister younger than herself. In her eighteenth year she united! with tho Eel River Christian church, of which slio was afterward a laithful worker, both in tho church and Sabbathjschool, until her death.

She was united In marriugo to Fremont Baymau oti the 7th day of January, 188U. They removed to Oxford, Sum ner county, Kansas, February 9, 1885, where they purchased a farm, and the future looked bright and prosperous. But alas! tho uncertainty of lifo is hero again illustrated by tho sudden demise of both those happy young persons. About the 201 li of June last Fremont Bay man, tho husband, was suddenly stricken down with typo-malarla, and despite the best of medical attention and careful nursing, ho passed away to another world on the morning of June 26. Just six weeks later, August 7th, Addie, his beloved companion In life, Joined him In death, leaving a little daughter six days old.

Tlie re was a large concourse of friends gathered with the family at the house on the 9th. After prayer and some very appropriate remarks by Elder Frasee, they followed tlie remains to the depotjln this city, which were conveyed back to Indiana, accompanied by the eldest brother, Grant. Arriving at tlielr destination a large concourse of friends mot them at tlie depot, who conveyed the remains to the old church-yard aud laid tliem beside tlie husband who preceded hor six weeks before. The funeral at that place was very largely attonded, over eight hundred peoplo being present. Tho suddon death of this young couple has east a deep gloom over tho entire community where ther wero so well Tlie bereaved parents, brotliers aud sister have the heartfelt symiathv of a largo circle of friends In this vicinity.
