COME OTVE, COMEALL. Suicide. Last Tuesday our town was thrown into a feverish state of excitement by the announcement that E. D. Izor had shot himself, and was dying, and soon the report proved too true.

It seems that he had returned from the Missouri Pacific depot, where he has been at work as night operator for several weeks; had eaten his breakfast, gone to his room over W. J. Herman's store, shaved himself, and then taken a large Colt's navy revolver, which belonged to Jack Fraunberg and was lying on the tabla, and deliberately shot himself; the ball entering his head above the right ear, passing through the bead, and then striking the wall, and glancing back and falling into a mosquito bar over a bed on the opposite side of the room. He lived only about two hours in an unconscious state. No cause is known why he should have committed this terrible deed.

For several weeks he has seemed very low spirited, but no one knows the reasons that prompted him to take his life. His funeral services were held at the resbyterian church yesterday afternoon, with a large, attendance of our citizens, and Rev. C. II. McCrerv officiating.

Bridenthal and Miss Julia Slaughter, which occurred on Tuesday evening, at the residence of the bride's father in the presence of a large assemblage of relatives and friends.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. P. George, and as the bride and groom stood beneath the legendary horse shoe, decorated with evergreens and Mowers, listening to the solemn words of the parson they were as handsome a couple as we have seen in many a day. The bride was beautifully attired in rich navy blue silk, cream kids, stylish Lingerie of cream Spanish lace, and natural flowers, daisies and rosebud.

Hair, dressed in same manner. After the ceremony and congratulations, refreshments of sandwiches, cake and ice cream were served. The presents were numerous, rich and rare, of which the following is a list with names of donors Household set of furniture Mr. and Mrs. J.
