The thorough tore does t. It is enough for him that he has a victim, and he notices his victim's sufferings no more than a high east wind notices the discomfort of the trees. Indeed, he stems to have the energy of a high east wind, at least when he is in company. If a bijre were cartaloie upon a desert his mind probably would burst with accumulated duikers and for that reason he haunts populous places such as clubs Conversation is for him a means, exchanging ideas, but of easing his mind; and that is THAT AUTO PARADE.

W. C. Anderson, manger of the El Dorado llotor Machine who is of the Fourth of July auto parade committee, has written to every motorist in Butler county, inviting all to join in the big show here on Independence Day. "The merchants of El Dorado have completed arrangements for one of the largest ever held in Butler county and we trust the automobile parade will contain every car in Butler county, decorated with flags or bunting or both," Anderson says and then he adds, "but do not it in case you do not have time to decorate." Anderson has received promises from many El Dorado auto owners that they will decorate and participate in the parade, which is to roll along at 9 o'clock on the morning of The Glorious. "We're going to have the biggest auto parade in the town's history," Anderson said Monday.

There is always such a tiling as making a man feel to much at home. Love makes the world go round, provided there are enough men to go round. Occasionally a thought strikes a man so forcibly that he never recovers from it. Many a young fellow who thinks he is awfully smart would be smarter if he knew less. Some people spend half their time wondering how they are going to spend the other half.

Many a man can't make up his mind whether he wants to be a rich sinner or a poor christian. "Yes," said the disappointed lover, bitterly, "she took everything I had, and then went back on me." "Even took your rival, eh?" suggested the sympathetic friend. Mr. Oldbeau Will you be mine, dearest?" Miss Antique- "Oh, you must give me time." Mr. Oldbeau "How long will you keep me waiting?"
