L. Rogers, of Olsburg, was in town, yesterday. He will go to Albuquerque, New Mexico, Monday, where ins wife is staying for the benefit of her health. Kansas, and comprises sixteen church organizations. These associations hold annual meetings and plan for the general advancement of the work of the church, and also send out ministers to do work In places where special work Is needed.

Kaeli church reports to the district association, which, in turn, reports to the annual state convention. The Baptist church is congregational in government, that is, each church manages its own affairs. There will be. sonle of the state workers outside of the association, present at the meeting here this week, and nearly all the ministers of the various churches of the association will be present. The meetings will be Interesting and profitable to all, and will doubtless be largely attended by our citizens.

Last week, one night after the re-yival services at the Adam's Peak school house, some boys started home on horseback and thoughtlessly ran their horses at full speed. Several of the occupants of the spring wagon were slightly, though not seriously hurt, and the crowd, in caring for these, did not notice for a time the two boys who were both lying senseless on the ground.
